We produce both solid carbide taps and CPM taps.
Solid carbide taps suitable for tapping Cast Iron, Aluminum alloy, Titanium alloy, Steel(HRC45~65).
CPM taps is suitable for tapping Cast Iron, Aluminum alloy, Steel (≤HRC45), Nickel based alloy, Titanium alloy and Stainless steel.
Carbide taps are quite tough and have high resistance feature, are suitable for machining the products of large lot and high efficient and the product of continuous machining. According to the application, there are several kinds of taps: Machine and hand taps, spiral flute taps, spiral pointed taps, thread forming taps, and Pipe taps and thread milling cutter.
The carbide rods we are using for machining the taps are imported from Konrad (Germany), the powder HSS (CPM) rods we are using are from BOHLER (Germany) and NACHi (Japan). We can design all kinds of taps according to customer’s requirements.
